I level the ground for your above ground pool installation. I charge half of what it would cost you to rent a skid steer and do it yourself. This post will give you an idea of what professional swimming pool excavation services cost.

Swimming Pool Excavation Cost
We charge $180.00 to remove sod and level an area that is within 6 inches of grade. Yards that are out of grade over 6 inches cost an extra $90.00. If your yard is way over 12 inches out of grade, we will quote an hourly rate after visiting site.
If you have huge rocks or ledge in your yard and excavation is not an option, we can build a pad to install your pool on. The average cost of material and labor to build and compact a pad is $800.00 to $1200.00.
Sod Haul Away
If you do not have a spot on your property to put the sod and dirt I remove while leveling your yard, I will haul it away for an extra fee.

Pool Base
It is always best to do the final grading with a compactable washed sand. Most yards carry washed mason sand. We use this to get the pool level to 1 inch. We have transits, laser levels, site sticks, rakes, shovels, plate compactors, and all the equipment it takes to build a good level pol base.
Most pool bases are dug, set, leveled and compacted with mason sand for just $350.00. Tell me again what your time and back is worth? 😀
